Market Widget

The Market nugget shows live price data for cryptocurrencies and stocks directly on your new tab page. Glanceable market data without opening a trading app.

Getting Started

1. Enable the Market nugget from the nugget picker
2. Market auto-populates with default tickers (BTC, ETH, SOL)
3. Data refreshes automatically every 5 minutes

What You See

Each ticker shows:

• Symbol — BTC, ETH, SOL, etc.
• Price — Current price in USD
• 24h Change — Percentage change with color coding (green = up, red = down)
• Sparkline — Mini chart showing recent price movement

Layout Modes

The nugget automatically switches layout based on how many tickers are displayed:

• 1 ticker — Expanded view with large price and full-width sparkline
• 2+ tickers — Compact table with one row per ticker

Auto-Tint

When enabled, the nugget's accent color automatically changes based on market performance:

• Green tint — Majority of tickers are positive
• Red tint — Majority of tickers are negative

Toggle this in Market Settings → Auto-tint by performance.

Data Source

Market data comes from CoinGecko, a free cryptocurrency data API. No API key required. Data refreshes every 5 minutes to stay within rate limits.

Settings

Access Market settings via the ⚙️ icon on the nugget:

• Auto-tint — Toggle market-based color tinting
• Opacity — Control nugget transparency
• Accent color — Set a custom color override
