Profiles

Profiles let you maintain separate configurations in nugs.gg — different backgrounds, widgets, bookmarks, and settings for different contexts (work, personal, focus mode, etc.).

Creating a Profile

1. Click the profile icon in the dock or settings
2. Select New Profile
3. Give it a name (e.g., "Work", "Personal", "Evening")
4. Click Create

The new profile starts with default settings. Customize it independently from your other profiles.

Switching Profiles

• Click the profile icon in the dock
• Select the profile you want to switch to

All settings, backgrounds, and widgets update instantly.

Editing a Profile

1. Open the profile switcher
2. Hover over the profile you want to edit
3. Click the edit icon (pencil)
4. Update the name or other settings

Deleting a Profile

1. Open the profile switcher
2. Hover over the profile to delete
3. Click the delete icon (trash)
4. Confirm deletion

Note: You cannot delete your last remaining profile.

What Profiles Include

Each profile has its own:

• Background source and settings
• Enabled widgets and their configurations
• Bookmarks
• Theme and visual settings

Profiles do not share data — changes in one profile don't affect others.
